This gorgeous off white scarf is hand sewn with care. It measures 1.5 meter in length and 0.25 meters in width. It is hand made from a plush, cashmere-like bamboo flannel fabric with a weight of 385gsm, making it a great insulator and sure to keep you warm!
SUSTAINABILITY
Designed using nature-approved materials, this undyed eco-conscious scarf is made using a 30% certified organic cotton and 70% bamboo. Meaning that the cotton used to make this scarf was grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or other chemical fertilizers. Bamboo fabric is also very sustainable because it is a fast-growing grass, requires no fertilizer and doesn’t need to be replanted since it self-regenerates from its own roots. This scarf is hand made in Canada.
SUPPLY CHAIN
Fabric is sourced from Simplifi Fabric, a textile company with a strong focus on sustainability and transparency. The organic cotton was grown in Turkey and exported to China to spin the yarn, knit the fabrics, then imported back to Canada. The bamboo was grown, spun and knit in southern China, then imported back to Canada.
